Upgrade Your Android Experience with the New and Improved Find My Device Network

Attention, Android device owners! The long-awaited upgraded Find My Device network for Android is finally here! This new feature, similar to iOS’s Find My network, utilizes a crowdsourced network to help you locate your Android devices, even when they’re offline.

With this enhanced network, you can now locate your phone with the help of other nearby Android devices that silently relay your phone’s approximate location. As you get closer to your lost device, the Find My Device app will provide visual cues to guide you toward it. Additionally, Google’s Pixel 8 phones receive a special bonus feature: they can be located even when powered off.

Excitingly, starting this May, the network will also support new Bluetooth tracker tags from Chipolo and Pebblebee, expanding the capabilities of the Find My Device network even further.
